Travel Tips
- Take motion sickness tablets BEFORE the journey — the 762 curves are no joke.
- Sit in the front of the minivan for less motion sickness.
- Renting a scooter is popular but the mountain roads are dangerous — only for experienced riders.
- The journey itself is beautiful — try to travel during daylight for the views.
- Pai is small — you won't need transport once you arrive (rent a bicycle or walk).
Our Recommendation: Take the minivan — it's cheap, frequent, and the standard way to get to Pai. Take motion sickness tablets and sit near the front. The mountain views are spectacular.
